Ignite Catholic Conference 2020

Ignite 2020 is a free online Catholic Evangelisation conference taking place on the Pentecost weekend, Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st May, to inspire, educate, and motivate all who attend to realise the beauty and depth of the Catholic faith, to live it to the full and to become true disciples who witness to the joy of their lived faith in their daily lives, helping others to come to know Jesus Christ.

This conference will help create a vision for how Catholics in Ireland can help renew the faith and help the Church through the current crisis.

Don’t miss out on all that our great speakers will have to share with us. For more information and to make your free booking go to www.domiminicanscork.ie.

Live Streaming

Even though churches are open for private prayer in most places, public Masses are still not permitted. As such various Dominican churches in the province make their Mass available through a live stream.

After St. Mary’s in Cork recently started using Youtube Live to stream various events from the church, Newbridge College now also has to same system installed. The live streams and schedules can be found on their respective websites, but also on the Dominican Youtube channel.

Please check with your local church if they broadcast their services or check the list below with Dominican churches with a live stream:

The Reception of the Habit 2019

The Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross is the traditional day in which new novices in the Irish Province of the Dominicans receive their habit and start their noviciate year.

Last year, on the 14th of September, four novices received their habit to start their noviciate year. Please find below a video of the event.
